City Entertainers Limited (CEL) was incorporated in Hong Kong in 2005 by a Group of professionals whose diverse businesses included Forex and Money Transfers, Information Technology, Trading, Restaurants etc. Quality Entertainment in the form of exhibition of Bollywood Movies, Musical Shows, Dramas and Plays etc. happens to be their forte, thus bringing a much needed value-based entertainment to the South Asian Community in Hong Kong.

Services

CEL has been in the entertainment and Event Management business since the release of Subhash Ghai’s "KISNA" in Hong Kong in 2005. Subsequently, CEL has distributed and exhibited various blockbusters like SARKKAR, KRRISH, LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI, DON, GURU, GANDHI MY FATHER, OM SHANTI OM, GHAJINI, 3 IDIOTS, KITES, and DABANGG etc for the viewing pleasure of the Indian community here. CEL also partnered with ZEE TV and managed the “ZEE NIGHT IN HONG KONG” show in October 2008 and partnered with Star Plus and managed the “Star Voice of India Show in Hong Kong” also in 2008. A thoroughly professional approach by CEL in this area (which is a first in Hong Kong) was the reason for the screening of Bollywood movies in reputed cinemas where hitherto Bollywood movies were unknown.

CEL is a part of the CITY GROUP OF COMPANIES (www.citygroupintl.com) which encompasses a wide variety of companies. Our Foreign Exchange and Money transfer operations (WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER SERVICES) are done out of our Main Office and branches in Hong Kong as well as our various branches in Sydney (Australia), Auckland (New Zealand) and Nadi (Fiji Islands).We also have a software development office in Ahmedabad, India. This is a gist of our group in this skeletal introduction.
